Recently at Boonah Veterinary Hospital there have been a few changes that you may have noticed!

Firstly our clinic has had an external makeover. We hope every one likes the new look.

Secondly we would like to welcome back Dr. Colleen Buckley. Colleen looks forward to meeting you and your furry friends around the clinic. We would also like to farewell Dr Tamika McAllister who is taking maternity leave. We wish her well.

Buffalo Fly

Lantana Toxicity

We have had a large increase in cases of cattle being affected by Lantana Toxicity. Lantana is a shrub that is widespread in the Scenic Rim and the recent rainfall has encouraged new growth. 

Tick Paralysis

Spring in the Scenic Rim means Ticks unfortunately. Tick Season has been massive for us this year meaning we have had way too many pets AND farm animals struck down with paralysis because of the deadly Paralysis Tick
